We believe every business owner deserves the same caliber of M&A guidance that large companies take for granted, delivered honestly, independently, and affordably.

A note from our founder

Why I built this practice, and what it's here to do

I founded Renova Strategy because I kept seeing the same gap: owners facing the biggest transaction of their lives with no independent voice in the room, someone who had actually been through it to advocate for them, translate what was really happening, and hold the process accountable.

My background spans two decades in business, including every layer of technology, from frontline support through infrastructure, cloud architecture, and executive leadership. I built and sold two MSPs of my own, then acquired a technology services company, grew it, and sold it as well. Over the course of my career I navigated M&A from every side of the table.

That means I know what it's like to be the seller wondering if the number is right, the buyer surprised by what due diligence actually reveals, and the founder figuring out what identity looks like on the other side of a transaction. No credential or license replicates that, and it's the perspective I built Renova Strategy to bring into every engagement.

Pedro Oliveira, Founder & Principal

Today, Renova Strategy carries that perspective across mergers and acquisitions advisory and international investor advisory, grounded in recognized certifications and licensing. Pedro's technology background also informs our due diligence on tech-enabled businesses, where the systems and data beneath the financials often shape the deal.

Built, bought, grown, and sold.
Every side of the table.

Our founder Pedro built and sold two managed service businesses from the ground up, going through all the emotional and practical complexity that entails. He also acquired, grew, and later sold a technology services company, experiencing firsthand what a deal looks like from the buyer's side as well as the seller's.

This matters because the hardest parts of a business transaction aren't the legal or financial mechanics, they're the sleepless nights, the identity questions, the moments of doubt during due diligence, and the strange mix of relief and loss that comes when you finally close. Pedro has been through all of it, and that changes the quality of guidance our team provides.
