Renova Strategy provides business brokerage and M&A advisory services. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
Information you send us. When you contact us through the site, by email, or by scheduling a call, we receive what you choose to share: typically your name, email address, and the details of your inquiry.
Valuation tool inputs. Our free valuation tool asks for a few figures about a business: an optional website address, annual revenue, annual profit, and owner salary. See the next section for exactly how those inputs are handled.
Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found us. This data is collected through cookies and similar identifiers and is aggregated; we do not use it to identify you personally.
The valuation tool on our home and M&A Advisory pages uses AI to generate a directional estimate from the figures you enter. Here is the full journey of that data:
Your inputs are sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service, which forwards them to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate the estimate you see on screen. The submission is processed in memory only. We do not store, log, or retain anything you enter into the tool: no database, no saved copies, no follow-up list. Once your estimate is displayed, the data is gone from our systems; our AI provider processes it under its commercial terms, which prohibit use of your inputs for training AI models.
The tool is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection service that may process limited device signals to confirm you are human. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the tool; it only needs the business figures it asks for.
Google Analytics sets cookies (such as identifiers beginning with "_ga") to distinguish visitors and sessions. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy. You can decline or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works fully without cookies.
We use the information you send us to respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether we can help, and carry out any engagement you ask us to. We use aggregate analytics to improve the site. That is the full list: no advertising profiles, no selling or renting of data, no unsolicited marketing lists.
We share information only with the service providers that make the site work: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (analytics), Anthropic (AI processing for the valuation tool), and SMTP2GO (email delivery, which transmits contact form messages to us). Each processes data only to provide its service. If you engage us for a business brokerage transaction, or express interest in one, your contact information and transaction details may also be shared with eXp Commercial, LLC, our affiliated brokerage, and processed in its client management and compliance systems under the AGNT, Inc. Privacy Policy, the policy of eXp Commercial's parent company. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Valuation tool submissions are not retained at all. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to serve you and meet our professional obligations. All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. If you would like us to delete correspondence we hold about you, email us and we will take care of it.
Discretion is the foundation of M&A work. Information shared with us in the course of an engagement, or in exploring one, is treated as confidential and is not disclosed except as needed to advance your transaction with your consent.
This site is intended for business owners and investors and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, Brazil's LGPD, or the Swiss FADP may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Given how little we collect, exercising these rights is simple: email hello@renovastrategy.com and we will take care of it.
